Northstar was launched in 2003 when the Founders of the company were approached by a consortium of clubs whose needs were not being met by the available club software.
On review, it was discovered that the current software options had dated functionality and were a patchwork of disparate software platforms designed for the general marketplace rather than for private clubs. The Founders decided to create Northstar Club Management Software to fill this gap.
