The Schatz Companies of Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood have contributed to the development of the area’s skyline and cultural life since the 1950s.

Currently, the Schatz Companies include Schatz Development, a real estate development firm that focuses on design-driven projects, Domu.com, an online company that has transformed the leasing and apartment search processes for Chicago landlords and tenants, and Schatz Realty, a residential brokerage. Recently, we debuted Chez, an event space just off the Magnificent Mile that provides a contemporary, elegant backdrop for parties, fundraisers, and celebrations. We also own and manage the nearly 100-year old, iconic mixed-use loft building in Streeterville known as the Schatz Building. In addition to housing the Schatz Companies's offices, it is the professional home to many tenants in various creative industries and to restaurants, as well.
